Product Availability, Delivery and Returns

Product Availability and Delivery:

Product availability for some ASCO and Kohler products have a lead time between 6 - 12 weeks in which it indicates the approximate number of business days for a product to leave the warehouse. After the product leaves the warehouse, actual transit time will vary based on product, carrier, and destination, but is usually less than five business days. Georgia On-Site Power, LLC shall not be liable for delays in delivery or in performance or failure to manufacture or deliver, due to: causes beyond its reasonable control; acts of God, acts of Buyer, acts of civil or military authority, priorities, fires, strikes or other labor disturbances, floods, epidemics, war, riot, or delays in transportation; or inability on account of causes beyond its reasonable control to obtain the necessary labor, materials, components or manufacturing facilities.  In the event of any such delay, the date of delivery or of performance shall be extended for a period equal to the time lost by reason of the delay.

Free Shipping

Products with free shipping will be shipped anywhere in the contingent United States with no cost to you via Fed Ex or common carrier. Free shipping is not available outside the continental United States.

(This excludes the non-contiguous states of Alaska and Hawaii and all off-shore United States territories and possessions, which include American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.)

Freight Charges:

Unless otherwise specified, shipments are F.O.B. factory.  Delivery and handling charges will be prepaid and billed as a separate item on the equipment invoice on the basis of Company’s current freight policies.  Buyer may also specify and use a designated freight carrier.  In the absence of such specification, goods will be shipped by the method and via the carrier chosen by Company. All products under 100 pounds without free shipping will be shipped anywhere in the continental United States via Fed Ex or common carrier. Shipping charges are calculated automatically at time of purchase based on weight and shipping location, and will be added to your order. All products over 100 pounds without free shipping are shipped by common carrier.

Signature Required

A signature is required for delivery of all generators.

Express Shipping

Shipping to California

Some engine-powered products cannot be shipped to California because they do not meet the emission standards of the California Air Resources Board (CARB).

Damaged Shipments

All material shall be carefully packed for shipment and Company will not be responsible for loss, delay or breakage after having received “in good order” receipts from the carrier.  If an item arrives damaged, please refuse shipment and contact us immediately. All claims for breakage, loss, delay and damage should be made to the carrier.  Shipping weights and dimensions given in Company’s materials are as close to actual as predictable, but are not guaranteed.  No claims will be allowed because of any discrepancy between actual weights or dimensions shipped and listed data.

For those rare occasions when a return is necessary, please follow these simple guidelines:

Approval

Please contact us to request approval. No returns will be accepted without prior approval. Upon approval, you will receive a Return Authorization Number and instructions for shipping. Approval must be requested within 30 days of delivery.

Product Condition

Product must be returned with its original invoice, with all parts and manuals, in its original box, in un-used condition. Product that has had gas or oil added cannot be returned due to federal shipping regulations.

Special Orders

We are unable to take returns on special orders, since we do not regularly stock these items.

Credit

For approved returns, GeorgiaOnsitePower.com will issue a refund within 10 days of receiving the returned item. Credit will be issued in the same manner as the original payment. Returns are subject to a 25% restocking charge. Shipping charges will not be refunded. Orders that were sent using free shipping will have our shipping cost deducted from the refund. If the return is the result of an error on our part, the restocking charge will not apply and shipping costs will be refunded.

Order Cancellation

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. To return the item, please follow the return guidelines above.

Damaged Product

The customer should inspect products before signing to accept them from the carrier. If a product arrives damaged, please refuse shipment and contact us immediately. If you discover after delivery that a product has been damaged in shipping, you will need to file a freight claim with the carrier.

Defective Product

If a product is not working properly, please contact us immediately.   We may be able to work through the issue on the phone or via email. You might also call the manufacturer’s customer service department for further assistance. Have your model and serial number ready for fastest service.

Due to federal shipping regulations, we are unable to accept the return of products that have had gas or oil added. Most products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty and can be fixed at no cost to you. Call the manufacturer’s customer service department for instructions.
